You can't run before you can walk and like everything else poker is the same. Just remember the strength of your hand and the size of the pot and you should be fine. Keep in mind that with five card hands even low hands are hard to get so at a table of six you can still be in with a good chance but as the stakes get higher and the games get fiercer you can be sure that if there are only two or three of you in the hand it is likely that the players have high hands so bluffing isn't always advised.
